Saying that, I would imagine that Brad and the gang have changed the plans over and over and that any new routes pretaining to Donner could be possible. I do remember that a 'sectional' route plan was discussed, but the specifics were vague and nothing set in stone. So.Colfax to Norden/Summit took 2 years or so to complete. That's assuming of course the research and quality that is put into these routes by 3DTS stayed the course. If that plan were to have gone forward, then Donner would not have been released yet. In Donners very beginning, the length of the original 'plot' was a couple of hundred miles long. Then finally Colfax to the present day version now released. After some discussion (many long distance phone calls) it was shortened to Roseville to Summit. During the planning stages a route from Roseville to Sparks was the initial plan. During my time with 3DTS, I was the one that was suppose to build Donner.
